About me!
Born in Ipswich, Suffolk, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and plenty of car-boot sales, it’s not hard to tell where my inspiration comes from!
Whilst studying Jewellery and Silversmithing at Edinburgh College of Art, I became infatuated with recreating collected objects, discovering how to imitate patinas and combining imagery and metalsmithing. After receiving a Silversmithing Scholarship from The South Square Trust in my final year, I felt able to explore these ideas on a larger scale, resulting in the making of my collection ‘Friday Street’.
Since studying in Edinburgh, I am grateful to have recieved the New Designer’s Hallmark Collection Award from Hallmark, as well as The New Maker Award from Fife Contemporary in recognition of ‘Friday Street’. I am also proud to have received mentions in Dezeen, The Skinny, Klimt02 and spotlighted by Edinburgh Assay Office, featuring my unique hallmark.
Looking ahead, I am excited to start making again from my new home studio!

Metalsmithing
In my work I explore the idea of capturing the dual essence of a photograph; whilst they document a moment, they also allow one to interpret, re-contextualize and forge their own meanings onto an image.
With an emphasis on personal narratives of being a serial car-booter and a fondness for collecting tactile objects such as; matchboxes, analogue cameras and postcards, I work with combining these forms alongside alluding to a sense of mystery that analogue photography innately provides.
