Topographical Frame, CNC-machined to replicate the contours of the landscape I photographed. Accompanied by a CNC-machined brass bow-tie and laser engraved image on mild steel.

Gilding metal hand-forged box with patina applied to mimic the outcome of oxidisation on metal overtime. Reclaimed glass panel ground down to fit, allowing you to see the pop of blue matches when box is closed. Individually tap and died screws act as a bezel, allowing the glass to be taken out and replaced with another panel or decal.

Short film made as a way of gathering visual research for my open-project, as well as an observation of Cramond Island ‘waking up’.
